Led the Big Eight and ranked eighth nationally in total offense in 1983
Established a school record with 346 yards passing against No. 1-ranked Nebraska in 1983
Although the Snow JC transfer played just two years in Ames, he set career records for yards passing (4,104) and completions (359)
A professional career included stops with the Falcons, Redskins, Chargers and Eagles in the NFL, the Sacramento Surge (league MVP) of the World League and four teams in the CFL (throwing for 20,671 yards)
