Getting There & Parking

Cars
Pre-sale single game parking is sold online only and ceases at Noon the Friday before each game OR when passes sell out. Pre-sold passes for public lots are first-come, first-served with pass holders choosing their lot upon arrival. Remaining passes may be available on site the day of the game.
Vehicles in standard stalls (including attached accessories) must not exceed 24 feet in length and 8 feet 6 inches in width. Vehicles with pull-behind trailers or pull-behind smokers are prohibited. Oversized vehicles that don't fit an assigned space and haven't been pre-approved will be directed to park elsewhere.
Recreational Vehicles
Cyclone Club members with RV permits park in RV Village — numbered space map here. Additional RV parking is available at ISU Research Park (~1 mile south of the stadium); tailgating is prohibited there. Research Park RV parking opens Fridays at 5:00 p.m.
Parking Lot Opening Times
Donor Lots: Kickoff 11:00–11:30 a.m. → lots open 6:00 a.m. | Kickoff 12:00–4:00 p.m. → lots open six hours before kickoff | Kickoff after 4:00 p.m. → lots open 10:00 a.m.
Public Grass Lots: Kickoff 11:00–11:30 a.m. → lots open 6:00 a.m. | Kickoff 12:00 p.m. or later → lots open six hours before kickoff
Arrival & Staging
Vehicles entering before scheduled opening times may be towed. Don't stage at lot entrances before opening — cars may be asked to move at any time, and law enforcement can require staged vehicles blocking traffic to relocate. Lots may occasionally open early at law enforcement's request; this varies game to game. On average, under 20% of stalls fill in the first two hours, and under 10% fill in the first 30 minutes, so early staging usually isn't necessary. Fans should not save spots for vehicles arriving later.
Emergency Lanes
Red-painted emergency lanes must stay clear for law enforcement, fire, and EMS access, and to keep lots accessible as they fill. Tailgating equipment must be moved from travel lanes as vehicles pass. Each parking pass entitles use of one space only — grills, games, tents, and chairs may not occupy additional non-reserved space. Vehicles must not pull onto curbs or islands; all tires must stay on paved surfaces.
Neighborhood Parking
Watch for posted signage and restrictions if parking in neighborhoods near the stadium: City of Ames gameday parking info.
Free Parking
Free parking is available at ISU Research Park and central campus (both within ~1 mile of the stadium). Follow posted restrictions; tailgating is not permitted at these free lots.

Golf Carts
Only university-managed golf carts with a pre-approved gameday function are permitted in Iowa State lots on football gamedays. Carts without prior approval are subject to ticketing and removal.
Entry & Tickets
Ticket Information
The general public Will-Call window is at the ticket office inside the Jacobson Building (north end of the stadium). Single-game tickets, if available, may be purchased online or at the ticket trailer southwest of Gate 3. All tickets are based on availability. The ticket office opens 4 hours before kickoff or 8 a.m. (whichever is later) and stays open through halftime. Children under two do not need a ticket.
Use caution buying from secondary ticket markets or resellers — Iowa State Athletics cannot guarantee authenticity.

Digital Tickets & Parking Passes
All game tickets and parking passes are issued digitally to fans' smartphones/mobile devices. Screenshots of barcodes cannot be used for admission. Download the official Iowa State Athletics app and visit Iowa State's Digital Ticketing Guide for full details on accessing and managing digital tickets and parking passes. To avoid delays, load your tickets and parking into your mobile wallet before leaving for the game.
All stadium gates have ticket pedestals for scanning your ticket directly from your mobile device.

Clear Bag Policy & Restricted Items
Iowa State Athletics has a clear bag policy for all ticketed events. Allowed bags:
• Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC totes no larger than 12x6x12 inches, with no logo larger than 4.5x3.4 inches
• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (e.g., Ziploc)
• Small clutch bags no larger than 6x9 inches
• Exceptions made for items required for medical, family, or child care needs
No metal water bottles are permitted. Fans may bring one sealed plastic water bottle (20 oz. or less) or an empty plastic bottle to fill at water stations throughout the stadium.
Entry Times & Locations
All gates open 90 minutes prior to kickoff. Patrons are encouraged to arrive early. All non-student tickets may enter through any gate.
Re-Entry
Re-entry is not permitted at Jack Trice Stadium. FastPass wristbands are honored for entry only through the end of the first quarter.

At the Game
Cashless Purchasing
Jack Trice Stadium accepts cashless payment only — ticket office, concessions, parking, and merchandise all take credit/debit cards. Cash and checks are not accepted.
Hydration & Lactation Room
Water fountains and bottle fillers are located throughout the east and west concourses. Metal water bottles are not permitted.
Lactation Room: Available on the east concourse, on the north end of Jack Trice Club (entrance from the concourse side of the club).
First Aid
Medical services are available at designated locations on both the east and west concourses. In an emergency, contact an event staff member, police officer, or call the Customer Service Hotline at (515) 296-7849.
Lost & Found
Lost and found is located at Guest Services on the east and west concourses, or can be reported to an usher. Items are held in the event management office through the end of the season; unclaimed items are then discarded. Submit a Lost and Found form here.
Lost Children
Parents/guardians with a lost child should contact the nearest police officer, an event staff member, or call the Customer Service Hotline at (515) 296-7849. If the child knows their seat location, they'll be returned there.

Jr. Cyclone Club
Iowa State's official fan club for fans 12th grade and younger, covering all Cyclone sports. Members get admission to 80+ events, including all home football games, plus members-only events. Register at jrcycloneclub.com.

Fan Code of Conduct
Iowa State Athletics staff proactively supports a safe, fun experience for all guests:
• Fans are entitled to enjoy the event free from disruptive or inconsiderate behavior
• No abusive or obscene language or gestures
• Alcohol must be consumed legally and responsibly, only in designated locations
• Fans must comply with venue and event staff requests
Prohibited:
• Public intoxication or impairment
• Illegal drug possession or use
• Possession of a firearm or weapon
• Smoking, including e-cigarettes
• Fighting or unruly behavior
• Unauthorized sales or solicitation
• Throwing objects onto the field or entering the playing surface
• Sitting outside your ticketed seat
• Destroying property
• Conduct endangering participants or spectators
• Criminal trespassing
• Signs, banners, placards, or leaflets
Violators are subject to ejection without refund and may have future tickets revoked; violations of law may result in arrest and prosecution. Ticket holders are responsible for their own conduct and that of their guests. Patrons without proper credentials are prohibited from the field level.

Tailgating Policies
• Limit tailgating to your ONE parking space — strictly enforced
• Tents no larger than 10' x 10'
• Do not block vehicle access to parking stalls
• No glass bottles, kegs, or open fires
• No tailgating from elevated surfaces (vehicle beds, roofs, trailers)
• No professional sound equipment/DJ booths without prior written approval; standalone speakers/amps prohibited; small boom boxes allowed if sound stays within your tailgate area (70 dB)
• Clean up your area before departing
Anyone under 21 is strictly prohibited from alcohol on university property. Alcohol use follows federal, state, local law and university policy. Beer and wine are allowed in parking areas; hard liquor (open or possessed) is prohibited on public property, including ISU lots.
Grills / Wood Fires: LP and charcoal grills, and LP heaters, are permitted when weather allows. Don't dispose of charcoal/embers/ash in trash cans, under trees, or in parking areas. One 20# LP cylinder per device — no spares. Open wood fires or wood fires in a portable fire pit are not permitted.
Abuse of tailgating/parking policy may result in revoked parking privileges for future games/seasons. Staff, police, and ISU personnel may remove any vehicle violating policy or posing a safety hazard.
Tents: Follow manufacturer setup/teardown/securing recommendations, including wind-speed ratings. ISU may restrict tent/canopy use depending on weather. Owners are responsible for any damage caused by their tailgating equipment, including wind-blown structures.
Drones
The airspace above Jack Trice Stadium is restricted on football gamedays. All aircraft operations, unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), and remote-controlled aircraft (including drones) are prohibited within three miles of the stadium without prior approval.
