The Drake Relays Hall of Famer (class of 2012) won the 800 meters four times in Des Moines’ premiere track event
Nakiyingi helped ISU win the 1990 Big Eight Cross Country meet and she placed 15th as an individual in the 1989 NCAA Cross Country meet
Qualified for the 1988 Olympics, but was not allow to run because of errors made by her nation’s Olympic Committee
