Oversaw Iowa State’s transition from the Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) to the NCAA in 1982
Promoted to a senior-level administrative position in 1993 with oversight responsibilities in student services, compliance, media relations and human resources
Served on NCAA committees for Women’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball Rules and Basketball Marketing
Given a Presidential Service Award at Iowa State and the National Association of Collegiate Women’s Athletic Administrators (NACWAA) Administrator of the Year Award in 2001
