- Wallace's 2002Â campaign included a stirring comeback win at Iowa, a school-record 493 yards of total offense vs. Missouri and a 12-yard scamper vs. Texas Tech which covered more than 60 yards and is affectionately known as "The Run"
- Finalist for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and recipient of Iowa State's Male Athlete of the Year award as a senior
