Junior Shelly Kringen, the 2000 region 4 vault champion, placed first on the vault with a 9.925 and first on the floor exercise with a 9.950 (ties a career high). She tied for first on the balance beam with Tiger Leah Gremaud (9.850) and then tied for second on the uneven bars with teammate Jessy Smith (9.850). Kringen's all-around score of 39.575 earned a career-high first-place finish and marked the second week in a row that she would break her personal best score on the event. Her all-around score also places second-highest in the Cyclone recordbooks.
Junior Sissy Huey, two-time Big 12 uneven bars champion, placed second in the all-around competition with a career-high score of 39.475. She placed first on the uneven bars, tying her career-high 9.925 for the third time this season. Huey placed second on the vault with a career-high score of 9.850 and tied her career high (9.90) on the floor exercise for second place. There was a four-way tie for third place on the balance beam; Cyclones Huey, Courtney Sarrett, Jessy Smith, and Stephanie Sweitzer all shared the honor.
