Cyclones Finish Zone Qualifiers in Iowa City

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Four Cyclones competed in the NCAA Zone D Qualifiers in Iowa City and wrapped up their season on Wednesday.
The Cyclones had three divers for 3-meter and the team event, four for 1-meter, and one in Platform.
Kate Mitchell, Ally Blumenfeld, and Maggie Bendell finished the team event in fifth with a score of 237.25.
Bendell led off for the Cyclones in the 3-meter with a score of 261.85, earning a 35th place. Following was Mitchell in 42nd and Blumenfeld in 44th.
In 1-meter, Bendell and Mitchell tied for 37th place with a score of 245.15. Blumenfeld and Abby Tollefson followed with 46th and 51st place.
Mitchell performed in the platform event with a final score of 210.10 and a 25th place to end the season.
