Student-Athletes of the Month Named

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State Academic Services announced the February and March student-athletes of the month. The recipients are Aubree Guinee, John Klosterman, Laurence Leblanc and Dylan Lee for February and Paul Beauvy, Nicolasa Jacobs, Marcus Neal and Alexandra Vidal for March.
February
Aubree Guinee, Gymnastics
Guinee is an all-around gymnast in her first season at Iowa State. At Big 12 Championships, Guinee competed on floor and scored a 9.725. The gymnast also scored a 9.800 in her collegiate debut at LSU.
John Klosterman, Football
Klosterman played in four games of the 2024 season before injury. The linebacker made four tackles, with two against North Dakota. Klosterman is also a CSC Academic All-District, Academic All-Big 12 and Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll member.
Laurence Leblanc, Soccer
Leblanc completed her freshman season in 2024 as a defender. Leblanc played in 10 matches making two starts and totaling 233 minutes. She is also a Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll member.
Dylan Lee, Football
Lee played in two games as a freshman before redshirting the 2024 season. The running back totaled 11 carries for 35 yards and had a touchdown. His touchdown came against Arkansas State where he rushed eight times for 26 yards. He is also a Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll member.

Paul Beauvy, Golf
Beauvy is currently in his junior season about to compete at the Big 12 Championship. This season, the golfer secured his first tournament victory at the N.I.T. shooting 15 under-par carding a 201 (67-70-64), tying the third-lowest 54 hole score and third-lowest round in school history in the third round. Beauvy is a Cobalt Golf All-American, CSC Academic All-District, Academic All-Big 12 First Team and Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll member.
Nicolasa Jacobs, Soccer
Jacobs is a midfielder who completed her sophomore season in 2024. She made five starts in 18 appearances, while taking two shots and playing 676 minutes. Jacobs is also an Academic All-Big 12 First Team and Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll member.
Marcus Neal, Football
Neal played in 13 games as a true freshman for the Cyclones in 2024, and made 18 tackles and had one sack. Against No. 15 Miami in the Pop-Tarts Bowl, the defensive back had a season-high eight tackles. Neal is also a Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll member.
Alexandra Vidal, Golf
Vidal is currently competing in the Big 12 Championship. The freshman finished tied for 10th overall at the Bama Beach Bash, where the Cyclones placed first, and 11th at the Silverado Showdown, where ISU took third out of 16 teams.
