Montgomery, Ala. – The Iowa State tennis team totaled a record of 6-0 on day one of the Blue-Gray National Tennis Classic in Montgomery, Alabama to open the 2025 fall season.
The tournament features two different draws, and each participating program has four players paired off in groups of two competing in separate draws. The duo would then complete the match sweep, with Alberto Vilar downing Tagliente, 6-4, 6-0, and Shulzhenko defeating Cohen, 6-1, 6-3.
