Iowa State Announces New Retail Merchandise Partnership

AMES, Iowa -Â Iowa State Athletics is pleased to announce a new retail partnership with Gameday Spirit Fanstore, a leading retailer of collegiate licensed merchandise and partner to major collegiate athletic programs.
Effective March 5, 2026, Gameday Spirit will become the official partner of Iowa State Athletics for the sale of licensed merchandise, including operating the official online team store (cyslockerroom.com), providing merchandise sales locations in Jack Trice Stadium and Hilton Coliseum and managing Cy's Locker Room - the official retail team store at 806 S. Duff in Ames.
This new partnership is intended to expand the products available to the Iowa State community – both local and nationwide - and help build a deeper connection between Cyclone fans and their favorite athletic programs.
Gameday Spirit has established itself as a leader in the licensed collegiate merchandise space. Their commitment to partnership, fan engagement and innovation is sure to enhance the merchandise experience for Cyclone Nation. Â They are attentive to the individual needs of each of their partner universities and are uniquely responsive to market trends, local events and athletic accomplishments. Â Additionally, Gameday Spirit will bring new opportunities to Cyclone student-athletes to help maximize their NIL impact.

Fans can expect to see Gameday Spirit launch operations at the existing Cy's Locker Room retail location in Ames at 806 S Duff Ave and online at cyslockerroom.com starting on March 6, 2026, and in Hilton Coliseum for the Men's Basketball game against Arizona State on March 7, 2026.

About Iowa State Athletics
Iowa State University sponsors 17Â intercollegiate athletic programs, seven men's and 10Â women's teams. A founding member of the Big 12 Conference, the Cyclones have won 19 team national championships, 162 conference team titles and 140 individual national crowns. ISU student-athletes also thrive in the classroom, having established a school-record Graduation Success Rate Score (GSR) for 11-straight years, as its 2025 mark of 95 percent equaled the school-record for the fourth-straight year and its most-recent multi-year 990 institutional Academic Progress Rate (APR) was also a school-record. Iowa State's 92 percent GSR for its male student-athletes in 2025 tied the school record, ranked third in the Big 12 and improved for the 11th-straight year, while its female student-athlete GSR of 97percent marked the 20th-straight year it topped 90 percent. Â In conjunction with the University and ISU Research Park, the Athletics Department is partnering with Goldenrod Companies on construction of the first multi-use district to be built on a college campus, the innovative CyTown, which is located between Hilton Coliseum and Jack Trice Stadium and slated to open in 2027.
