LAWRENCE, Kansas – Iowa State (2-7, 0-3 Big 12) fell to Kansas (6-3, 2-1 Big 12), 4-2 on Saturday afternoon in Lawrence.

After the Jayhawks took the doubles point, the Cyclones fought in singles to pick up two victories and force four third sets. Julia Camblor got the Cyclones on the board after sweeping her final set, while Stanislava Shulzhenko picked up a 6-4, 5-7, 6-3 victory. No. 73 Mari Paz Alberto Vilar was also leading in the final set when the match was called in favor of the home team.

The Cyclones will be back in action at Baylor on Friday, March 13 at Noon.
