AMES, Iowa – Iowa State All-American defensive lineman Domonique Orange has been selected by the Minnesota Vikings with the No. 82 pick in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Orange anchored Iowa State's three-man defensive front and earned All-America and All-Big 12 Third Team honors as a senior in 2025. The Cyclones were eligible for three bowl games in his career, playing in the 2023 AutoZone Liberty Bowl and the 2024 Pop-Tarts Bowl.
In 2025, Orange played more snaps than ever before in his career and made a significant impact. He earned Bednarik National Player of the Week honors for his dominant performance in a home win against Iowa. He finished with six tackles while going head-to-head against Hawkeye center Logan Jones, who went on to win the Rimington Trophy.
The Kansas City, Missouri, native finished his Cyclone career playing in 50 games while making 24 starts. He had 66 tackles, 7.0 tackles for a loss and one sack.
