Schindler’s high school team were two-time state runner-ups and state champions throughout her high school career. Schindler was an individual state runner-up in the 100 breaststroke in 2024 and 50 freestyle in 2023.

Daughter of Erin and Jay Schindler... majoring in marketing... mom Erin (Cowan) competed in diving for Iowa State from 1995-99, making Zone cuts each of her four years and named ISU’s Diver of the Year in 1998 and 1999... dad Jay Schindler was inducted into the Iowa State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2026 for men's swimming and diving.
