Posted a 5-7 overall record for the Cyclones, competing in four tournaments… went 2-2 at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open picking up a win by fall over Ben Duncker (Iowa Central) with 27 seconds remaining in the first period… defeated Chris Paulus (Upper Iowa) 3-2 at the UNI Open… earned two wins by fall at the University of Dubuque Open… competed at the 50th Midlands Championships.

2011-12
Redshirted initial collegiate season... compiled a 10-9 record competing unattached… took third at the Kaye Young Open where he earned a technical fall against NIACC’s Logan Cudd 18-3, pinned Anthony Pagan of Ellsworth and won by major decision 13-3 over Ellsworth’s Andrew Sulwaske… posted a second major decision again over Ellsworth’s Sulwaske at the UNI Open by a margin of 16-6… placed fifth at the William Penn Open while winning three of five matches, including pins against Felipe Rodriguez of Waubonsee CC and Ellsworth’s James Kent.

Compiled a career prep record of 107-18... two-time Oregon state place winner finishing fourth at 125 as a senior and third at 125 as a junior... two-time member of the freestyle national team... Oregon Junior 125-pound freestyle and Greco state champion as a junior... Oregon Junio 13-pound runner up in both styles his senior year.
