Abbie Parizek joined the Iowa State Athletics Department in 2023.

Parizek serves as the lead dietitian for softball, men's and women's golf, women's tennis, gymnastics and is a support dietitian for football. She is responsible for providing comprehensive nutrition support for her teams, monitoring fueling station inventory, and hiring, training and managing the Sports Nutrition Department student workers.

In 2023, Parizek completed her 1,000-hour dietetic internship and master's degree in nutrition and physical performance at Saint Louis University. She is a 2022 graduate of Iowa State with a bachelor's degree in dietetics and exercise science where she also worked as an undergraduate sports nutrition intern.
