Roberson participated in the debut season of Real Pro Wrestling, wrestling for the Iowa Stalkers and advanced to the finals at 60 kg. Most recently, Roberson toppled defending U.S. Nationals champion and World Team member Michael Lightner in the 60 kg. finals at the U.S. Nationals in Las Vegas. He registered a third-place finish at the World Team Trials in Ames. Roberson also placed third this year at the U.S. Nationals after finishing seventh in 2004. He defeated the last opponent of his career, Josh Moore (Penn State), for a title at the NYAC Christmas Invitational in 2004. Roberson served as a workout partner for 141-pound national champion Nate Gallick and won a bronze medal in February at the Dave Schultz Memorial International. Roberson is currently ranked fifth at 60 kg. in the latest freestyle rankings and was second at the 2006 NYAC Invitational.
