- A 5-11 middle blocker in volleyball, Doles earned First-team All-Big Eight honors twice and set multiple school records
- Named ISU’s 1983 Female Athlete of the Year, she also earned the Big Eight’s Medal of Honor (academics and athletics) that year
- Participated on the track team one season and set an indoor school record in the high jump (5-7)
