Kicking Off
Iowa State is set to face its fourth ranked foe of the Big 12 slate Monday evening, as it welcomes No. 20 BYU to Ames for the second leg of a three-game homestand. ISU will look to snap a three-game skid and earn a result against the top-20 Cougs.
The Cyclones come into Monday's contest having dropped their last outing to K-State at home on Thursday. After falling behind midway through the first half, ISU was unable to rally and fell to the Wildcats, 1-0. Keeper Eme McClenahan secured a new career-high in saves against KSU with 12.
The Cougars have earned a result in seven of their eight Big 12 contests, doing so in their last three outings. Currently, BYU is tied for third place in the conference standings after a top-20 draw against No. 18 Kansas on Thursday.
