Drafted by the Iowa Cornets – the first women’s professional league – and averaged 11.4 points helping her team to second place
Scored 49 points per game as a senior playing 6-on-6 rules at Glenwoood High School before adjusting to the 5-on-5 college game
A two-sport star, Hodgson was a two-time Big Eight high jump champion
Earned AIAW All-America honors in 1975 placing sixth in the high jump and running on the third-place mile relay
