AMES, Iowa ? Carleigh Berry scored two runs and Alex Johnson drove in two as Iowa State took the series finale against Oklahoma State, 4-1, Sunday afternoon at the Southwest Athletic Complex.
Iowa State (21-25, 3-9 Big 12) also got a strong pitching performance from Rachel Zabriskie (14-20), who allowed just one unearned run while striking out five in the win. Zabriskie now has 189 strikeouts this season, good for fourth on ISU's single-season list.

Iowa State tacked on another run in the third on Amanda Bradberry's double down the right field line that scored Sydni Jones from first. Bradberry connected on OSU pitcher Anna Whiddon's first pitch of the at bat to make it 2-0.
After Oklahoma State (29-16, 6-6) cut the lead in half with a bases loaded walk to Julie Ward in the top of the fifth, ISU bounced back with two runs in the bottom half of the inning. Johnson had the big hit, roping a double to right center off of reliever Sarah Odom to score Berry and Wray. Berry had reached to lead off the inning and Wray drew a walk from Odom.
Zabriskie took care of the rest, stranding a Cowgirl base runner in both the sixth and seventh innings.
Whiddon (14-11) took the loss for the Cowgirls, giving up three runs on six hits before being chased in the fifth inning.
Wray finished 1-for-2 for the Cyclones, who out hit Oklahoma State eight to six. Bianca Lopez singled in the fifth to run her hitting streak to three games.
The Cyclones will be back in action Wednesday with a doubleheader at Missouri. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
