Gymnastics Travels to Arizona For First Road Meet
01.20.2017 | Gymnastics
AMES, Iowa - For the first time in 2017, the Iowa State gymnastics team will be hitting the road to take on Arizona on Saturday. The Cyclones will head to Tucson, Arizona for their first away meet of the season, which will begin at 5 p.m. in the McKale Memorial Center.
Iowa State has started the season undefeated in their first two meets, both of which have taken place at home in Hilton Coliseum. The first meet on the road presents a new challenge for the Cyclones, who have yet to compete in another venue. Luckily, the team is coming off a win at a tri-meet where they hosted Towson and Wisconsin-Oshkosh, improving their overall team score to a 194.275.
The Arizona gymnastics team will be providing a live broadcast of the meet, which can be found here. They will also have live stats during the meet, found here. Coverage of Iowa State's events will be provided through the Iowa State Gymnastics Twitter account, @CycloneGYM.
