WORTH NOTING
1. Iowa State is 16-4 in December games under Steve Prohm...Prohm is 4-2 against instate schools.
2. ISU has won four-straight games to get to 7-1 this season, its best start since Prohm's first team started 9-0...the Cyclones haven't trailed since the 18:10 mark of the second half of the Illinois game, leading the last 138:10 of game play.

• Iowa State led by as many as 33 points and shot a season-high 50 percent from the field on its way to an 81-59 win against North Dakota State Monday evening...it was ISU's fourth win this season of at least 20 points, including its third straight.
• The Cyclones held NDSU to just 36.5 percent from the field, the fifth consecutive opponent to shoot below 40 percent from the floor...the Bison shot just 25 percent on 3-pointers, the fourth opponent in eight games to shoot below 30 percent behind the arc.
• Iowa State had 16 assists, 10 blocks and eight steals in the win...freshman George Conditt IV had a career-high five blocks in 10 minutes...the five blocks came on five consecutive possessions.
• Four Cyclones scored in double figures led by Shayok's 20 points... Jacobson posted his second double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds...Weiler-Babb was a perfect 4-for-4 from the field and scored 11 points, while Horton-Tucker chipped in 12.
• Cameron Lard (2 pts, 2 blks) and Zoran Talley Jr. (4 pts, 2 assts) made their season debuts after sitting out the first month of the season due to violation of team rules.

• Iowa State and Iowa are meeting for the 72nd time...the Hawkeyes own a 44-27 edge in the all-time series, including 28-7 in Iowa City...the Cyclones have won seven of the last nine meetings and in the last 12 own an 8-4 edge.
• The home team has won 13 of the last 15 meetings in the series...ISU's 2010 win (75-72) and 2014 win (90-75) in Iowa City are the exceptions.
• Steve Prohm is 2-1 all-time against Iowa and Fran McCaffery.
• Michael Jacobson's career high of 13 rebounds came against Iowa when he was playing at Nebraska.
