Iowa State's last win in the series came on Oct. 21, 2016, with the Cyclones took down No. 24 Baylor in Waco, 1-0.
2. Junior captain Tavin Hays scored her first career goal on Friday in Iowa State's 3-2 loss at Texas. The native of Henderson, Nev., buried a shot in the 36th minute off an assist from Claudia Najera to tie the match at 1-1. Iowa State's two goals on Friday were its most in Big 12 play this season. The Cyclones also tallied a season-high seven shots on goal in the match.
3. Redshirt freshman Kenady Adams also got in on the scoring in Austin, netting her second goal of the season in the 90th minute. Adams collected a Hannah Cade free kick off the post and put it in the back of the net to cut the Texas lead to 3-2 with less than 30 seconds remaining in the match.
4. Najera, a freshman midfielder, has excelled distributing to Iowa State's goal scorers this season. The native of St. Charles, Ill., now has a team-high four assists, including a give-and-go on Hays' goal at UT. Najera has also assisted on a pair of game-winning goals by fellow freshman Mira Emma (vs. Omaha, vs. SIU Edwardsville).
5. Sophomore midfielder Megan Etrheim made her first career start vs. Oklahoma. The native of Sioux Falls, S.D., played a career-high 47 minutes in the match and tallied a team-high two shots against the Sooners. Etrheim also started in the midfield on Sunday vs. No. 15 Oklahoma State.

The native of La Porte City, Iowa, got on the end of a beautiful ball played in by fellow junior Kassi Ginther and buried it in the back of the net to give Iowa State a 1-0 first-half lead. Powell now leads the team in goals (3) and total points (6) this season.

The Red Raiders entered the match averaging a league-leading 2.6 goals per match. TTU eventually broke through for a golden goal by Sierra Jones in the 108th minute. Iowa State is one of just two teams to hold TTU scoreless in regulation this season.
10. Emma, a native of Wheaton, Ill., was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Week for her efforts vs. SIUE and Saint Louis. She was the first Cyclone to earn a weekly award from the conference since Klasey Medelberg was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 25, 2016.
