-The Cyclones appeared in the final NWCA Coaches' Poll for the first time since the 2014-15 season. Iowa State finished the season ranked No. 15.
-Last week the NCAA released its final Coaches' Panel Rankings. Eight Cyclones appeared in the second panel: Alex Mackall (22), Austin Gomez (10), Ian Parker (12), Jarrett Degen (11), Marcus Coleman (23), Sam Colbray (15), Willie Miklus (5) and Gannon Gremmel (25).
