ISU Ready to Finish Busy Week at EMU Quad Meet

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State gymnastics team (5-2, 3-1 Big 12) wraps up a busy road trip on Sunday, taking part in a quad meet hosted by Eastern Michigan, which will also cinclude the Air Force Academy, and Bowling Green.

The event will take place at the Convocation Center in Ypsilanti, Michigan at Noon Central Time. Sunday's meet will be televised on ESPN3 and live results can be found, here.

Iowa State backed up its 196.375 Monday against West Virginia at Hilton Coliseum with a season-best 196.575 at Northern Illinois Friday night. The Cyclone victory was led by Addy De Jesus, who notched her career-high 39.575 in the all-around while also picking up event wins on vault and bars, with the latter coming via a career-best 9.925.

The Cyclones saw three other gymnasts join De Jesus in recording 9.9s on Friday night. Loganne Basuel (bars) and Meixi Semple (beam) set career-bests of 9.900 in their respective events, while Maddie Diab got her second 9.900 on floor of the season to pick up the event win.
