Cyclones Travel to West Virginia to Open Big 12 Season

Who: Iowa State vs. West Virginia, Eastern Michigan and Towson
Where: WVU Coliseum, Morgantown, W. Va.
When: Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023 – 1 p.m.
The Lead: Iowa State travels to Morgantown for their first road meet of the 2023 campaign. The Cyclones will partake in a quad-meet featuring West Virginia, Eastern Michigan and Towson. The dual between ISU and WVU will be considered a Big 12 conference dual.Â
Storylines:
·       Before last year's loss to West Virginia in the Big 12 Championship, the Cyclones had won 10 straight against the Mountaineers. Iowa State leads the series the all-time series 17-7-1.
·       Iowa State has never lost to Eastern Michigan or Towson. The Cyclones have a record of 3-0 against the Eagles and a 2-0 record against the Tigers.
·       Last week, the Cyclones defeated Eastern Michigan in their home-opener 194.075-193.575.
