Leading Off: No. 36 Iowa State travels to compete with No. 4 Florida, No. 18 NC State, and LIU. They enter a pivotal stretch as they are right on the cut line to make a regional and will need to carry forward their momentum from their last two meets.
The Cyclones had their second straight team score of 196 in front of a record crowd on senior night. They will now travel to Gainesville to compete in what is sure to be another packed arena as they will be competing against their toughest competition of the season in the No. 4 Florida Gators. This will also be a quad meet that boasts the likes of No. 18 NC State and LIU. The Cyclones saw NC State earlier this year which they fell in a very narrow contest in which ISU saw their second highest score of the year.
Iowa State knows they need a strong performance from everyone as they come into this meet ranked No. 36. With this being the final regular season meet before they head to Big 12's then hopefully a regional they are needing to carry over some of the strong scores they have seen in the month of March. The most notable was last Friday against Iowa, Loganne Basuel saw a new career high in her final time competing at Hilton with her bars routine scoring a 9.925. The Cyclones will need to see more of that as well as even more from others to help them feel safe before going into their final meet of the season.
