AMES, Iowa -Â No. 14 Iowa State will wrestle its final two home duals of the season this weekend when it plays host to Big 12 newcomer Arizona State on Friday before stepping out of league action against No. 15 Pittsburgh on Sunday. Seven Cyclone seniors will be recognized during the intermission of Friday's dual against the Sun Devils.

DRESSER CHASING 250
With a win in either dual this weekend, Dresser would record his 250th career dual victory. Dresser tallied 160 dual victories in his 11 seasons at Virginia Tech and has 89 as head coach of the Cyclones. He owns a 249-83 coaching record entering the weekend.
SENIOR NIGHT
Seven Cyclone seniors will be recognized for their contributions to the program during the intermission of Friday's dual against Arizona State - Cole Carlucci, Jacob Cates, Cade Schmidt, Sam Hrabovsky, Evan Bockman, Zach Redding and Kysen Terukina.
KEY STORYLINES
- Iowa State looks to get back on track after dropping its most recent dual to No. 3 Oklahoma State, 27-12, on Jan. 26. The Cyclones won four of of 10 bouts in the dual but ultimately had their 12-match home conference streak snapped by the Cowboys.
- Iowa State is 20-4 on its home mat since the 2021-22 season.
- The bottom half of Iowa State's lineup has been rounding into form as of late. Paniro Johnson (149) owns a team-best 11-match winning streak while Evan (133) and Jacob (141) Frost have both won eight in a row. Cody Chittum (157) has won 10 of his last 11 matches.
- Johnson, who owns dual victories at 149, 157 and 165 pounds this season, is 8-0 with a 20:3 takedown ratio since taking over the 149-pound spot.
- Jacob Frost was named the Big 12 Wrestler of the Week on Jan. 29 after earning the highest ranked win of his career over OSU's No. 4 Tagen Jamison in sudden victory.
- The Cyclones have been bit by the injury bug this season. ISU has lost four starters, including three past All-Americans, to season ending injuries: Casey Swiderski (141/149), Anthony Echemendia (141/149), Connor Euton (165) and Yonger Bastida (285). Kysen Terukina (125) has returned to practice but remains sidelined from competition due to a knee sprain suffered at the Cyclone Open.
- Kevin Dresser preaches a high-paced, entertaining style of wrestling and encourages his athletes to give fans their money's worth. This season, nearly half of Cyclone wrestlers' wins have come with bonus points (44-of-97, 45.4%).
