AMES, Iowa – The No. 57 Iowa State tennis team returns home for one match this weekend as its set to take on No. 45 Kansas on Saturday.

MEET THE TEAM
The team will hold a barbecue on Friday at 5 p.m. at the Iowa State Tennis Facility.
THE SERIES
Iowa State has an 8-48 all-time record against Kansas, but the Cyclones have won four of the last five meetings with the Jayhawks.
LAST TIME OUT
The Cyclones split with the two conference schools over the weekend. The Cyclones fell to BYU, 4-2, on Thursday before defeating Utah, 4-3, on Saturday.
PLAYER TO WATCH
Suzanie Pretorius went undefeated in the Cyclones' two matches out west, going 2-0 in singles at the five spot and leaving both doubles with Valeska San Martin Ramirez matches unfinished. Pretorius downed both of her singles opponents in straight sets, beating BYU's Sue Yan Tan, 6-0, 6-2 and Utah's Hayley Roberts, 6-4, 6-2. The freshman's singles record improved to 8-7 in duals and 18-14 in 2024-25 with the wins.
