AMES, Iowa -Â The Cyclones look to bounce back as they head to Lincoln, Neb. for the Git R Done Invitational.

COURSE INFORMATION
Firethorn is a prairie-style golf course featuring a Pete Dye design. Accuracy is demanded throughout the more than 7,000 yard course with intimidating tee shots, water hazards, fescue and subtle green contours. The Git R Done Invitational has been made possible through the tremendous support of Dan Whitney (Larry the Cable Guy), whose famous catchphrase "Git R Done" has become the namesake of Nebraska's home men's golf tournament.
KEY STORYLINES
- Iowa State heads to the Git R Done Invitational for the first time after finishing 16th last week at the Bearcat Invitational.
- The Cyclones were 1 of 3 teams to card a round -5 or lower in last week's tournament, as they scored a 279 in the third round.
- After struggling in the first two rounds of the Bearcat Invitational, freshman Julian Geerebaert fired a career-low 68, which included eight birdies in the third round alone. Owen Sawyer also shot a 68 in the final round, tying his fourth-lowest round of his career.
- Paul Beauvy sits in the top spot on the career stroke average list with a 71.62 average. Sawyer is tenth on the list with a 72.89 scoring average.
- The Cyclones won three tournaments last year, taking home titles at the Gopher Invitational, the Zach Johnson Invitational, and the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate.Â
