Cyclones In Second After Two Rounds Of The Wolverine Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich.- The Cyclones had a long day of 36 holes but didn't let that get to them in any way, firing an eight-over round as a team to finish the first two rounds alone in second. Pammy Chookaew had herself a day, not only leading the Cyclones but also leading the tournament at six-under. With just one bogey on the card after 36 holes, she kept her score clean and added six birdies to help her score.
Isabella Yan fired a three-over round, leaving her in a tie for ninth after 36 holes and helping out the Cyclones. Yan will look to get her first top 10 finish over her college career with just one round to play. Nichakorn Pinprayoon came in third for the Cyclones, finishing in a tie for 16th, shooting five-over after 36 holes. Pinprayoon snagged six birdies in her rounds today as well.Â
Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn came in fourth for the Cyclones today, finishing 10-over after 36 holes, placing her in a tie for 41st. Keeley Marx rounded out the Cyclones, placing in a tie for 45th after shooting 11-over after 2 rounds.
The Cyclones trail the leaders, Kent State, by two shots and will look to get the win tomorrow, where they will tee off at 7:45am.
