Georges Niang and the Warriors got off to a 5-3 start to the season after winning four straight, while Tyrese Haliburton went down with a hamstring injury.
Tyrese Haliburton - #0, Indiana Pacers (2-6)
The Pacers announced on October 28th that Haliburton will miss at least the next two weeks of action with a mild strained left hamstring that has seen injuries in the past. Head Coach Rick Carlisle stated it was unlikely that Tyrese would play before the two-week timeline and that they would "Go from there".
Georges Niang - #32, Golden State Warriors (5-3)
Niang is starting to settle into his role in Golden State, dropping double digits twice on efficient shooting to help the Warriors go 4-0 this past week.
Niang's best performance of the stretch came in a win over Phoenix on Monday night, where Niang tallied 13 points, four rebounds, and three assists (13-4-3) in 22 minutes on an efficient 5-for-6 from the field. Niang also finished with 11-5-1 in a win over the Lakers on Friday night on 4-for-5 shooting.
In his other games, Georges had 7-3-2 in a win over Minnesota on Wednesday and 3-1-2 in a win over the Clippers. Niang, a 40% career 3-point shooter, will look to get back to his sharpshooting form from deep range next week.
