AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State softball team (22-5) is set to play its first home games since May 18, 2019, as the Cyclones open Big 12 play vs. No. 1 Oklahoma (22-0) this weekend. Iowa State, which is off to its best start in program history, will open a three-game series against the unbeaten Sooners on Friday at 4 p.m. at the Cyclone Sports Complex.
Every game of the Iowa State vs. Oklahoma series will be broadcast on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.
Limited fan attendance will be allowed at this weekend's series. Masks are required while inside the facility, and other mitigation efforts such as social distancing will also be in place.

- Pitchers beware - four of the nation's top five home run hitters will be playing at the Cyclone Sports Complex this weekend. OU's Jocelyn Alo (No. 1 - 19), Tiare Jennings (No. 3 - 14), Kinzie Hansen (T-No. 4 - 13) and ISU's Sami Williams (T-No. 4 -13).
- Sami Williams is currently ranked 9th in career doubles in NCAA history with 72. She is the first NCAA DI player to reach 70 doubles since Lea Foerster (Michigan St. - 2018). The all-time record is held by Washington's Sarah Pickering (91).
