Cyclones to Face No. 23 Texas in Home Finale

AMES, Iowa - Iowa State women's soccer (3-9-3) returns home for the final time this week. This time, the Cyclones are set to face the #23 Texas Longhorns (11-1-3). Thursday marks the second-to-last match of the season for the Cyclones.

Thursday will be the 30th matchup between Iowa State and Texas. The Longhorns hold a 25-3-1 advantage over the Cyclones. Kickoff for Thursday's match is scheduled for 6 p.m. (CT) and can be streamed on ESPN+.

On Sunday, the Cyclones fell to Oklahoma State 1-0.

SCOUTING THE LONGHORNS
Texas enters the match coming off a 2-1 victory over the West Virginia Mountaineers. Texas carries a 11-1-3 overall record and a 5-0-1 record in Big 12 play.

The Longhorns are led by Trinity Byars. So far, Byars has scored 12 goals, recorded nine assists and has tallied 33 points.
